On the day before Kate and Scott's wedding day a tropical low sat over the Sunshine Coast, dumping heavy rain and stirring up howling winds. But their wedding day dawned bright and sunny - a perfect autumn wedding day - with the heavy seas the only hint of the stormy weather the day before. The bride was gorgeous in a beautiful pale dusty pink wedding dress that she had made herself (how wonderful is that?), and the bridesmaids lovely in navy lace, set off by the fresh unstructured green and white bouquets. Editing the images I was reminded of what a really happy day this was - there is hardly a shot where this wonderful couple aren't smiling at each other and everyone else. The wedding party were just as beautiful and smiley and such a lot of fun for the location photos - and the bride and groom never stopped laughing and smiling even when they nearly got washed off a rock by a rogue wave (oops!). And judging by the start of the reception, the laughter and merriment continued on well into the beautiful, moonlit night.
♥ congratulations Kate + Scott ♥
