Merryn and Terry's fabulously fun fort lytton wedding ...... brisbane wedding photographer

I'd been looking forward to Merryn and Terry's wedding ever since I first met them last year.  Not only are they one of the loveliest, warmest couples you could meet, but the venue (historic Fort Lytton in Brisbane) and the theme (steampunk) were so unusual and eclectic that I couldn't wait to see how it all came together.  And I certainly wasn't disappointed - what a wonderful day it turned out to be!  Everyone was so welcoming that Sarah and I felt as if we were wedding guests and not there to work at all!

The creative bride made most of the accessories, bouquets etc herself and you could see where she got her talent from - her mum had made many of the outfits and was still busy on the sewing machine while everyone was getting ready.  The groom and groomsmen are all historical re-enactors and certainly weren't afraid of striking a pose - they were such a lot of fun we were in fits of laughter a lot of the time.  The guests all made a huge effort to dress up steampunk style - and friends provided the music (amazing!), the catering (delicious!) and the cake (spectacular!).
