My series of images of a peaceful evening on Lake Kariba near Bumi Hills in Zimbabwe got a silver award recently at the APPAs (Australian Professional Photography Awards) in the Science, Environment and Nature category. I loved how the lake changed in colour and mood over the period of an hour in the late evening as we sat on the boat catching tiger fish. It was a bit of a risk to enter something really different but it paid off!
