Spirit of the plains - Sunshine Coast Portrait Photographer

I always think it is important for any photographer to have a personal project.  At a recent visit to the Queensland Art Gallery I was inspired by Sydney Long's painting "Spirit of the Plains" to create something similar photographically ....

so I found a picturesque spot, added a long suffering daughter in a dress from ebay, a camera and an off camera speedlight, ....

a bit of fun ...

some impala from Imire in Zimbabwe (who were very confused to be relocated to the Sunshine Coast!)
