portraits in the studio

Much as I love location portraits the studio has come in handy recently with the very wet weather we've been having. So we had lots of fun with this beautiful young couple with lots of backgrounds and wardrobe changes on a wild wet winter's day.

the dress ....

Marissa and Don's wedding was wonderful - but wet. Not wet as in drizzle and showers, but wet as in buckets and torrents! Although we did manage a brief 20 min of dry(ish) time for photos in the lovely gardens at Clio's, when Marissa phoned me and asked me if we could do this photoshoot a few weeks after their wedding, I jumped at the chance. And although once again the rain threatened, this time it stayed away and we had the best fun on a shoot that gorgeous dress road trip! :)
