Domboshawa

One of my favourite places in Zimbabwe is Domboshawa, just outside Harare where I have spent many happy hours with my brother and cousins.  Meaning 'red rock' in Shona, Domboshawa is a huge granite rock covered in lichen in three different colours, yellow, green and of course red.  Bushman paintings can be found in a cave on the side of the rock.  

So if you add one of my favourite little families to one of my favourite places in the world, you get one of my favourite family photoshoots!

Textures in photography are very polarising - some people love them and some people hate them.  I love them with the right images - and these ones of the beautiful Holly against a lovely sandstone building were perfect for a bit of an arty touch!

Sunshine and Laughter - Sunshine Coast wedding photographer

There was something special about this wedding. There were lots of children there on this lovely sunny day (including the bride and groom's adorable little boy). Children love weddings, and their excitement is contagious. They love the bride looking like a princess, and the happiness and the romance. And they especially love to dance ......
